we're backlogged here at Turtle Music, but May's newsletter is out, (and has been out for some time, but hey-- it's all smoke and mirrors!) So we're catching up in this Festival Season that we're happy to be playing and participating in.... with Tulsa Int'l Mayfest, SxSW, OK Mozart Festival, Red Bull Gypsy Cafe Festival, the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival, There's Something in the Water Festival, and more... in the meantime, our office manager has taken her annual summer break, so this is, and was the last email for a little while... stay tuned, stay cool, and stay the same, we love you.

The brand new Blue Rose Cafe in Tulsa will be opening the first week of February, so our CD Release will be on Saturday, 5 February (instead of 29 January, as originally scheduled...) You Come, Too!

... the Blue Rose Cafe will host our CD Release in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Saturday, 29 January, 2011... and our very first show of the year will be a CD Release scheduled at the BrickStreet Cafe in Okemah, Oklahoma on Friday, 14 January, 2011 with very special guests... then, on the following Saturday, 22 January, 2011 the CherryPickers will be at Fred's Texas Cafe in Ft Worth, Texas... You Come, TOO!

John Wooley's article "Home in Oklahoma" about the new CD, All Fall Down, is out in the December issue of Oklahoma Magazine... it's free and on news stands around the state
Rich Warren, WFMT Chicago DJ and revered host of The Midnight Special recommended the new CD All Fall Down in his "Rich's Picks" and played "The Bad Roads of Oklahoma" on his great Saturday night show. It will eventually be on the national show sometime in late January or early February.
